Probably the very best of unknown Champagne. Raymond Boulard has enjoyed such accolades as the House Champagne at a top UK chef’s restaurant and despite the modest price tag; is an excellent drink.
Wine Making:
Raymond Boulard employs a harsh and ruthless harvesting technique, using only the best grapes in their selection. The grapes are left on the vine until late in the season to ensure optimum ripeness and a good development in the aromas of the wine. Small, stainless steel vats and traditional oak barrels are used are used in the Vinification process.
Tasting Notes:
Mid straw gold in hue with blossoming aromas of white fruits, biscuit and honey. A plate of subtle toffees and brioche along with berry fruit and a clean, well rounded mousse.
