Wine Making:
In the very heart of the Champagne region; Perrier Jouet own 65 hectares of only the very best quality vineyards. These hectares and rated at 99.2% on the Quality Scale, making almost every vineyard classed exclusively as Grand Cru. It is the Chardonnay grape that is the signature of the Perrier Jouet vineyards, using predominantly mature vines where possible (usually around 23 years old). From the outset of the business; Perrier Jouet has produced only small quantities of Champagne, preferring to uphold their exclusive, ‘Limited Edition’ persona.
Tasting Notes:
An opulent honey colour with an aroma of lemony white fruit and beeswax. A crisp acidity and peppery mousse on the palate with notes of toffee and honey.
