Wine Making:
Wines from over fifty five of the highest quality crus are used in this blend, with an unusually high quantity of Chardonnay (more than double the standard) used for a non vintage. This gives the wine an effortless purity; because of this, only a very small amount of dosage. Laurent Perrier believe that the ideal ageing period for such a wine is a minimum of three years, despite the official requirement being only that of 15 months. This extra care results in this faultless Champagne, with a standard that is so typical of Laurent Perrier.
Tasting Notes:
A pretty Champagne of a subtle, fair gold and lemon-yellow tint with a complex palate of spice, caramel and citrus fruits with a powerful (though not overwhelming) nose of such luxuries as creamy vanilla, plump ripe fruits and toasted brioche.
